So as promised, I said I would be posting more about shit that actually had to do with life and so here I am with a brand new series. This one's called:
"I'm Just Saying"
Why? Well, you'll find out as the series progresses. It'll be a different topic each post, some might be familiar to you, some might not. But keep in mind, this is all based on my experiences & opinions. No research necessary cuz I aint writing no damn paper.
Be warned however, if you start to feel like your getting a bit defensive, or find yourself saying "yea whatever, bitch" then hell, I might be talking to you. So please, as always, you're all more than welcome to make comments but keep that catty-ness aside cuz it won't get you anywhere. Actually, depending on how catty you become, I might make YOU my next subject so yea... yey for you.
So today's topic is none other than:
LIARS
Do you really hate them?
I mean, haven't you ever lied before? Little "white" lies count you know. Remember when you told yo' mama that you don't know what happened to those cookies she just made? You know, the ones that no one was supposed to touch before dinner? Oh you don't remember... see there you go, you lyin' to me already.
Anyway, this topic came about when I was reading a few peoples profiles/surveys and I noticed that a good amount of these people mentioned how much they HATE liars. But seriously, do they really believe that EVERYone is telling the complete & honest truth? Every time someone tells you that you look great, but deep down inside you know you're lookin' like a fresh pile of shit, do you really believe that?
I believe that we could all use a liar at some point. You know why? Cuz sometimes, I don't want to believe the mirror. And I damn sure know, that at some point, I didn't want to believe in my report card. Call me pretty & say I'm a genius, and I'll be your bestest friend for at least 2 days.
Of course, I do see why people could jump to the conclusion and think that they hate all liars. A cheating boyfriend, a back-stabbing frenemy, etc... self explanatory right? The point is, why generalize? You tell yourself you don't want to be surrounded by liars, but if that were true, you'd be completely alone.
Call me a hater, but I'm just saying.
Not trying to stir up drama, but if you strongly feel that I'm being ignorant about an issue, email me. No anonymous comments.

i agree.. i fall into the generalization but it's hard to think of "good" lies when you're thinking of lies in general. easier to think negative than positive for sure. plus people hate cheaters? but i've cheated on tests. but then there's the cheating in relationships, cheating and using people.. hmm..
i really like this post. in my opinion based on experience, everyone lies!! regardless if its big or small. Its human nature. I lie unconsciously haha!
Having to say a lie actually saves or prevent people from fighting and killing each other. People only hear what they want to hear PERIOD! So lying could be a good thing. But of course not all the time :)
*claps* good one... i never thought about it that way... makes sense i guess its the big meaningful lies that people hate.. i guess it should be i hate lies not liers lol
well sometimes you go to clothing stores and you see people that are obviouslly larger trying to squeeze in xs clothes and posing infront of the mirror looking all sexy... If they ask for your opinion of course you're going to say "ya you look great!" instead of "stop stretching out the merchandice!". So there are sometimes when a white lie is good for acquantances or strangers, but I think as a friend, if your friend ask for your opinion, you should tell the truth... Hey, I know a lot of people that think I can be "too outspoken" at times ;)
