    2 Weeks...

That's how long I've left you alone.
    I am so sorry.

I know, I've been really terrible at keeping you all up to date and honestly, I can't promise you I'm gonna get any better at it these next couple of weeks or so.

Anyway, so I do have a few things I want to share with all of you, it's just that finding time to create a post about it is a little difficult. I don't really like these quickie updates, I like a post actually dedicated to stuff that means something to me and worth sharing with you all. But for now, I guess I'm feeling a bit forced into doing a quickie about things that have been keeping me occupied, so here goes (you might already be aware of some of these things if you follow me on Twitter):

    1. So I went to go see Mus.I.C. starring the Jabbawockeez and Super Cr3w -
I really enjoyed it; I screamed, I clapped, I laughed, and I cried (cuz they didn't pick me)... You'll hear more about this later on a future post with pictures.

    2. If you follow me on Twitter, this is old news, but I'm still so excited about it so I'm still gonna talk about it... I GOT A NEW JOB! Which is basically the main thing that's been keeping me busy, but a good busy.

    3. Henney went on her first hiking trip =) I mean, she's been walked before of course, but she's never gone hiking. I'm gonna have a little post on that just cuz I took pictures and I know other people out there will want to see.

Okie dokes, those are the 3 main things... everything else can be filed under "procrastination" or "misc." LOL

    Kay then my lovelies,
    TOODLES!

    Current Love Affairs, Pt. 2/2

So this is Part TWO of my Current Love Affairs list. Let's just get right into it, shall we? If you're interested in Part ONE, scroll down or click this.

    VS Beach Sexy
    Sunkissed Bronze

Ok, so I'm already tanned. However, sometimes I do find myself a little too tanned in some areas more than others. For example: I drive a lot. So my left arm is always darker than my right arm. Most of the time, it doesn't bother me. But other times (like during a heat wave type of week), it'll bug the hell out of me because my left arm will be at least 5 shades darker than my right arm. And that doesn't include the fact that my legs are 10 shades lighter than my left arm because I've been wearing long pants. So anyway, I've tried other tanners, but so far nothing has been as great as this one. It gives me an instant tint, but gradually tans more as the day goes by. It's never left me orange or muddy, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for other tanners. The only unfortunate thing I can say for this product is that it leaves shimmers behind. I don't know about you but I do like a little bit of shimmer, just NOT on my entire body to the point where I'm glistening. The shimmers do go away as soon as you take your first shower, but the tan stays on point. Another plus about this product is that as the tan is slowly fading away, it doesn't leave blotchy, uneven areas like your hands or the inside parts of your elbow. It just slowly fades, fairly evenly, and I reeeeaaaally like that about this product.

    Lucido-L Aqua Curl Lotion
    Photobucket
Don't let the name distract you (lotion???), this is a great product. It keeps my curls curly for hours! It's even withstood an entire night of dancing and partying extra, extra hard! What I usually do is spray this on to damp hair, blow dry, then curl. But it's also worked on dry hair, spray this on, then curl. So really, there's no right or wrong way of using it.

got2b Guardian Angel Flat Iron Balm & Gloss Finish
    Photobucket
So by far this is my favorite flat iron sidekick and let me tell you why. On my graduation day, I decided I was going to test this out and iron my hair. That day turned out to be one of the most gloomiest, most humid days during summer. However, my hair stayed flat and fly-away free the entire time... even throughout dinner! So after that experience, on one of the most important days of my life, ever... I decided this product is going to be a staple for me.

    Beyond Zone Power Lift

I originally got this because I had a $5 credit at Sally's Beauty Supply and I was looking for something to give me nice volume. Unfortunately, a lot of the volumizing products were well into the $10+ range, and this was probably the only one that cost around $6. Now I don't know about you, but if I have store credit for something, I don't like to spend more than that. So I gave this a try and wow. LOVE. At first it was kinda weird cuz it's not a spritz, it's actually kinda foamy but not foam like mousse? Does that make sense? I hope so cuz that's the best I can do, LOL. Anyway, so the directions say to spray on towel dried hair but I found it works better (at least for me) to spray it on wet hair and blow dry. I love how it makes my curls extra bouncy, or how it doesn't leave my flat ironed hair completely flat at the top. It doesn't create insane volume (only teasing could do that), but it does give a very nice everyday type volume. It's slightly sticky at first, but the feeling goes away completely after the product has dried. Doesn't flake, doesn't feel stiff. Good shit overall.

    Ardell Demi Wispies

My second favorite lashes. You can view my first fave here. I actually don't like that the band is so thin on these but the style really makes up for it. They might look slightly intimidating for some, but they're actually one of the more less obvious looking falsies when you have them on. The look they give is absolutely stunning! They make you look like you've got really thick, separated lashes.

    Everyday Minerals Pick Me Up
    Photobucket
So I've talked about Benefit's Eye Bright before and basically, this is just the powder version of it. I like the Benefit pencil version because it's quick and easy, you just swipe, pat, and go. But when I have more time to get ready, and I really want that flawless "I had 10 hours of sleep on a Tempurpedic" look, I always go for these.

Johnson's Baby Oil Aloe Vera & Vitamin E
    Photobucket
I can't even stress how much I love this stuff and how much it's loved me back. I don't even know how many bottles of this I've bought cuz I've been using it for years! I may not be the finest bitch on the block, but I can almost bet I'm top 3 when it comes to bestest skin. I am so proud of my skin (not facial skin, that's a different story LOL) it's not even funny. Aside from the stretchmarks that come with age and a fluctuating weight, I have virtually no scars, no crazy veins, no dryness, no flaking, nothing. And I hate to toot my own horn, but y'all should feel my legs... soft as a baby's bottom! And a lot of that I owe to this baby oil. I always use it at night after a shower, right before body moisturizer. Never use it during the day cuz think about it, it's oil! It's like cooking grease, you put it on your skin and it see's daylight, that's an invitation for the sun to come shooting at you with skin cancer causing rays of evil.

So that completes my current faves list. Hope this helps some of you who might be looking for new things to try.

    As always,
    TOODLES!

Damn, I gotta do that FTC notice shit huh? Well, here goes: I bought everything unless otherwise noted. No one paid me to say any of the above comments. Damn y'all, can't a girl just genuinely love her beauty stuff? I blame all those lying ass bloggers and youtubers, and the dirty companies that support them.
