Anticipated Haul

I just bought some stuff from AmiClubWear.com. I have no idea why, but I am uber excited to get them! I decided to spoil myself a bit for the holiday... maybe cuz I know this is probably the last few things I buy for awhile (w/xmas around the corner, I gotta buy stuff for other folks, not just me!).

Anyway, I'm really excited about the grey boots most because they have the hot pink bottoms. LOL, I know it sounds stupid, but come on! Hot pink? Uhhh... UBER HOT!!!!!

Mini Collective Haul

I swear, it seems I've bought more stuff as a broke ass than now, when I'm actually making some money. But you know how the saying goes,

mo'money mo'problems.

When I first started my new job, my brakes decided to go out. That's a negative $600 in my account. A couple weeks later, my dog gets some crazy rash... vet bill: nearly $200. A month after that, headlights go out, tires go out, etc, etc.

But occasionally, I do indulge in a lil' sumthin'sumthin. It hasn't really been anything worth posting about though... however in the last couple of months, I couldn't help but fall back into spoiling myself, vanity speaking.


In the last 2 months... this is all I've bought (beauty wise).




















And I got these shoes on sale for around $25, Orig. $59 at Macy's.

A Million Thanks...

Viva Los Wockeez!

Everyone who's ever been to Las Vegas know that it's a place where your wildest fantasies come to life. A little bit of alcohol, a little bit of money can take you very far in the city.


Imagine hitting jackpot on a single bet, getting a lap dance while flying high in a helicopter, getting married via drive-thru!


For me, Las Vegas brings a different type of joy. I might be a heavy drinker, but I'm not a heavy gambler. I love a good party but I'm not much of a clubber. I've always treated Vegas as my home away from home. The place I go to to get away from reality, without being too far away from my reality. You know, live a fantasy without letting it go out of hand.

This past weekend, I LIVED one of those fantasies.
I. Met. Rainen. AND. Phi.

For those who know me, KNOW I love the Jabbawockeez. I've admired them since I first laid eyes on them, first season, first episode of ABDC. Their talent and style got me hooked. I related to their loss of a great friend. And I share their passion for the art of dance.

I am a FAN.
Not a fanatic (I can't afford to be) and I sho' as hell ain't a groupie (that's ain't my steeeez).


Anywhooz... so this past weekend, I went to watch Mus.I.C... again.

Let me just add that the guys are hella humble, hella nice, and hella cute in real life. They even chit chatted with us for a bit, as opposed to just posing for a quick pic then waving bye. It was such a dream come true, especially for big fans like Carol & I. We met them the night before we saw the show, that's why Riss wasn't able to join us, which really sucks cuz I really wanted for her to meet them.
