    Oh Hello... Kitty...

So I've sort of been on an accessory kick...

Yesterday I received my order from eBay. I got a Hello Kitty bow ring and necklace =) Looking at the items in person though, they remind me more of Mickey Mouse's bow tie... but no complaints because I like both characters just fine.

Each item was only $4.99 and shipped free

The size is just right in my opinion. Not too big, not too small. They also come in pink and silver, but I had my BF's help in choosing colors so he picked black. No regrets, I was even expecting these to come in next week. So having them come in yesterday was a very nice surprise considering I got them thru free standard shipping all the way from China!

Anyway, that's all for now folks!
    Toodles!

Feeling Like A Lady, Then Meeting A Tramp

Just wanted to share a small collective haul. I haven't really done much shopping since school has kept me plenty busy but I do manage to grab a trinket or two when I can =)

This necklace I got from The Scholarship Store at FIDM.

The rest of these items I purchased at Forever 21.

So this set of bracelets actually has a funny story behind it. I was standing in line and the lady at the very front of the line (maybe 2 people in front of me) saw me holding these and she asked where I got it from. I told her I found them over at the accessory bowls/bins just on the other side of the register line barrier (which was like, 10ft away). And she's like oh ok... then she keeps staring at me and the bracelets and says,

"Can you go get them for me?"

And at this point I'm already annoyed that she just kept frikken staring at me (it's a 'hood thing, you stare at someone and you risk getting your ass handed to you LOL) but I remain my cool and told her, "It's not far, it's just right there."

Then she begins babbling about how she's already in the front of the line and she didn't wanna lose her spot, blah blah blah... if she would've just shut her mouth for a second I would have told her I was gonna let her cut back in line in front of me anyway (I'm bitchy but I'm not a total bitch, ha!). But she just couldn't shut her trap so I just ignored her.

Who the hell does she think she is, I mean really? Do I really look like someone who gives a damn that you might lose your place in line? Or better yet, do I give you the sense that I might be willing to lose MY spot in line just to get a total stranger something they didn't wanna get cuz they were just too lazy to do it? Cuz if I did give off that impression, I must be one hell of a liar cuz I really didn't give a shit. Ha!

Anyway, that's all for today folks!
Have a beautiful week and Happy Monday!

Note: Everything pictured above was purchase with my own money. None of these items were gifted.

Some of you who follow me on Tumblr or Twitter have already seen this, but I felt like those who are only devoted to following me via Blogger should see this, too.

I took this picture during a class break last Friday. I was in the parking lot grabbing some supplies from my car and when I looked up, I smiled in awe.

Do I Look Like A Hooker?

    Okay, so don't answer that.
I'm fully aware that sometimes I do let too much of my inner-whore out to come and play. But I swear she only looks the part!

Anyway, so yesterday I was minding my own business when this man asks to sit next to me. I said yes cuz it was an empty seat and I wasn't expecting any of my friends to come any time soon. Still minding my own business, he begins small talk with me. I'm not interested in the least bit so I give him one word answers, and never once looked him in the face.

Dude never got the hint and kept running his damn mouth. Seriously? You're at least 50 yrs old, I'm sure you can clue yourself in when someone doesn't wanna talk to you! Anyway, so then he asks who I was with. I tell him the truth, that I was there with my boyfriend and some friends. He then goes, "boyfriend and friends, huh?" he pauses for a moment then asks,

"So how much to take you away?"

My fucking jaw nearly dropped to the ground. Is this bastard serious? I laughed to keep myself from punching his rude, bold ass and told him that he couldn't pay me to take anything away. He then got up and said, "I made you an offer and you blew it." then proceeded to leave. Then I burst out laughing hysterically.

    OMFGawd.
Was this dude serious?!?! I mean like, really? Like, fa'real, fa'real? Not everyone from the South East is looking to be a mail order bride buddy.

Fuck you, I already GOT my papers, sucka!

Just wanted to share, just another day in the life of Imee, I guess. LOL
    TOODLES!!!

    Inspire

So I downloaded this Snapbucket app on my Sidekick, which is perfect since one of my instructors suggested that I (or the entire class, rather) should start taking pictures or sketch out anything we see interesting or inspirational, or just anything we like because more than likely, it'll make for good inspiration for a project or whatever later. Anyway, so I went and bought myself a sketch pad but I'm the type of gal who has to be in the mood for drawing. And quite frankly, the mood doesn't come very often. That said, I'll be taking lots of pictures, LoL. And lucky for you, I like to share =)

I haven't really found too many inspiring things but when I do, it'll be on my Tumblr site because as random as I am on this blog at times, I do like to keep my posts somewhat relevant =) So be sure to follow me on there if you have a Tumblr.

Anywhooz, so I hate to do posts without pictures so I wanted to share with you a couple of beauty items that I have been using every single day for the past couple of months.

    Chanel Mat Lumiere in Natural
    Filter: Lomoish,Vignette: Small Black,Frame: Rounded White,Snapbucket

    Ben Nye Neutral Set
    Filter: X-Process,Snapbucket

These two have kept me shine free every single time I wear them together... for HOURS at a time. Usually by lunch time I would be a complete grease ball and will need to re-do (not retouch, but re-DO!) my face. Yes, I get that oily. But with these babies, even with that famous Southern Cali sun beaming down on me, I stay matte. So for all my oily sisters out there, give this combo a try! I know the Chanel foundie is kinda pricey, but you can always ask the sales person for a sample =)

Okie dokie, til next time loves,

Mic Check, 1, 2, 1, 2... Is This Thing On?

    Is anyone still here?

I know it's been a minute since I've blogged, but I'm back y'all! I know I have a lot to make up to my loyal readers but I promise I'll be more active in the blogging world from now on. First let me explain, I know I've mentioned I've been hella busy, but really I have been. Just in the last few weeks I've hit so many twists and turns, lumps and bumps in the road, but now I think I've finally got it together. Or at least, as together as it'll ever get for the time being.

Anywhooz, anyone remember when I mentioned I had something big to announce? Well, here it is:

    I'm going back to school!
I know that's nothing to some of you guys, but it's an incredibly big event for me. Mainly because it's been a long time coming and the opportunity finally presented itself to me and it couldn't have been at a better time in my life. It's almost like, everything bad I ever went through, all the struggles I had to get through has finally brought me to this point in my life where I could do exactly what I want to do without worrying about what my parents or anyone else thinks. This time, I think life has just pushed me so far to the edge that I've finally decided I'm gonna push back.

As of tomorrow, I will officially be a student at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). Tomorrow is my first day of class and I am uber excited! I've researched other schools, I've made comparisons, I've thought about it over and over and over again, and I finally made my big decision.

This is such a big step for me considering I've always wanted to go to this school since I graduated high school. The money and the support wasn't there so I decided to do other things with my life. Those other things have helped me realize that my decision to go back to school to do what I truly love is not only the right decision, but the best decision for me. I don't wanna say I wasted a decade of my life, but rather I'll say that in the past 10 years, I've made enough mistakes and gained enough experience to know 110% exactly what I want to do for the rest of my existence. Granted I live the average 70+ years, that makes those 10yrs seem like a mere moment in time =)

Anyway, that's all for now my love, I must plan my first day of school outfit now =)

    TOODLES!

(Btw, ain't no shame in my game... this school is hella expensive so if anyone would like to help a sista out by shopping for things you would normally shop for anyway, please click this link to Upromise and a small portion will be credited to my school loan, not my pockets I assure you. There's no need to sign up or anything, just shop til your heart stops)
